Tuning My Horn, Playing My Song, Only One Left
A stab at repurposing an idea with my own melody.
In the grand symphony of existence, where each life composes its unique melody, I find myself in the poignant transition of the bridge. Here, in the delicate balance between what has been played and the notes that are yet to resound, I am struck by an urgent realization: the remaining composition must be crafted with an intentional fervor, a tribute to the essence of what it means to truly live and love.
No longer shall my symphony be marred by dissonant chords of superficial engagements or the aimless rehearsals of days gone by. The soul of my music—now more than ever—seeks the depth of genuine connection, a harmony so profound it can only be described as the intimate dance of true love.
In this concerto of life, I long for fellow musicians whose spirits resonate with authenticity, who embrace their vulnerabilities as bravely as they do their strengths. These are the souls who have mastered the art of playing their errors with a tender smile and accepting their triumphs with grounded humility. Their melodies are not just heard; they are felt, vibrating in the very core of our being, teaching us the delicate art of human connection.
This phase of my composition is an ode to the essence of love—deep, abiding, and transcendent. Love that is not just an emotion, but a state of being, a continuous exchange of the most intimate notes between souls. In the music of life, true love is the most exquisite melody, played on the strings of the heart with the gentlest touch, yet its resonance fills the entirety of our existence, echoing into the infinity of time and space.
As I etch the remaining measures of my life's song, I do so with a profound desire to infuse every note with the richness of this love. My legacy, I hope, will not merely be a melody that was pleasing to the ear but one that touched the heart, moved the soul, and awakened the deepest chambers of love within those who hear it.
For when the final note of my symphony fades into the silence, let it be known that my opus was a testament to love in its truest form. A composition that, even in its conclusion, continues to vibrate through the hearts of those it touched, a perpetual echo of love, connection, and the profound intimacy that binds us all in the human experience. This is the music I choose to leave behind—a melody of true love, enduring, eternal, and infinitely beautiful.
This is a result of a poem by Mário de Andrade that struck a ‘chord’ with me. I’ve recently reflamed the passion of composition and instrumental expression and felt it profitable and in tune to state my own version of his thoughts. Hope you like it.

The analogy of music and comparing it to a written song is symphony was striking James. The inexpressible nature of music resonated as well. Almost beyond the need of word. (Loved the saxophone picture too!) 🙌
